The Tooth Story

So as I mentioned earlier in the week, Makayla now has her first tooth!  She had been working on it for quite some time.  The drooling started up when she was just 3 months old but in the past month it had REALLY increased alot.  So I just knew the imminent tooth was getting close to making its appearance.  I noticed sometime last week..probably mid-week..that you could see white really plain right at the gumline.  WOW!!  It was really coming is what I thought!  I was also thinking 'oh gosh..she's gonna be super cranky the next couple of days'.  Well thankfully I was wrong.  She was her same old happy self and before I knew it..her tooth had definately come to the surface and was poking through on thursday/friday of last week!!!  Here is a close up...

I can't wait to see how she's going to look with teeth!!  I'm also hoping she doesn't figure out how to 'bite' momma when she's nursing!
