What I'm Loving Wednesday!

I'm loving that I have some time for myself this week!

I have my baby shower to look forward to next week!

All of our pets are happy and healthy!  You know how it is when your furbabies don't feel well.

I'm loving that my bassinet is on its way!  Yes..they sent me an email yesterday saying its en route!

I'm loving the cara cara oranges Damon found for me at the store last weekend.  They are the BEST oranges you can eat (and my all time fav)!

I'm loving our house..we bought our place 2 years ago this month and I'm so thankful for it!

And I'm always thankful for my sweet hubby...he is the best!  :-)

What are you loving this wednesday?  Head over to Jamie's and link up!

Baby Stuff...

Sorry if my baby posts bore some of you out there..but when your preggo..its whats on the brain 24/7 it seems!  I NEVER thought I'd be like this..trust me..but I'm luvin' it!  :-)  Anyways..last night I went ahead and ordered the bassinet from Targets website that I found on there (not the one I had originally wanted).  I'm SO EXCITED to see it when it arrives on my door!  The picture online is super cute and totally girly!  It said the expected arrival date is between the 5th and 8th..but I'm thinking it might get here sooner.  Would be good cause my shower is on the 5th!  I was able to get free shipping on it as well..which helped ALOT considering it was about $30 more than the other one I originally wanted.  Not that it matters a whole lot though..its a gift from my MIL..she gave us the money to get one so its not my money thats being spent technically!  LOL!

Product Image
I'm also planning my shower games for next week (I can't believe my shower is exactly one week from today!!) and gifts to give as well.  I can't wait to head out looking for some cute little things (think journals, candles, dish towels, etc) to give as gifts for winning shower games!  Speaking of which..anyone care to give me some ideas on a door prize??

Have the menu planned for said shower as well.  Alot of finger foods, pasta salads, cakes, goodies, punch and the like.  Yumo!  I still need to make a phone call reguarding the 'big' cake though.  Going to try to get that done this afternoon.  We'll see how that goes!  Its a lady that lives here locally...she makes cakes (think wedding cakes and the such) and they are pretty darn good!  I tried one of her creations last summer at a wedding I attended and gotta say..it was really good!  So I'm hoping she can help me out (I've never called on her before myself).

Hoping the weather gets back to warm and springy around here again soon too!  Its turned back to cold and at times, snowy.  I was 'hoping' to take some maternity pictures outside.  Yeah..I'm hoping that maybe we can get a couple shots that are really good ourselves instead of going to a photographer!  We've taken some awesome pics in the past on vacations and things..so I'm thinking we could do the same this go around!  We'll see though..fingers crossed!

Hope your having a great tuesday!

Miscellany Monday

Miscellany Monday @ lowercase letters
one.

Oh what a weekend around here!  And not in a real good way either..there have been several deaths in our community in the past week...all of which are people that we were either related to or knew very well.  Pray for those who have lost their loved ones recently.

two.

At least my dr appointment went well on friday!  Everything still is looking good..heartbeat is strong and I'm still gaining!  That scale is gettin kinda scary to me..I almost don't want to even look when I get on it now..lol!  And my dr was able to help us get a problem resolved..whew..one less thing to worry about!

three.

I placed an order with the lovely Venessa for some ponytail holders and a bracelet to help her bring baby DLC home.  If you've not checked out her blog..head over there now..meet this sweet lady..and help them out if you can!

four.

Anyone else have problems with Target?  Don't get me wrong..I am a big fan of Target..but when I went in on friday to purchase Makayla's bassinet..they had none in stock and couldn't give me an idea of when or if they'd get any in.  That helps alot...right?  So I go online (perhaps I can order it..thinks me) and its NOWHERE on their website!!  Isn't that just a bit odd?  I did however find another very sweet bassinet and if I'm not able to get the one I originally wanted...this will do nicely...
I couldn't put up a picture..it wouldn't let me for some reason!

five.

Paint has been bought for the nursery!!!!  So exciting..I can't WAIT to see it on the walls to see how its going to look!  I'm hoping Behr paint lives up to its reputation.  I've never tried it before but the guy at Home Depot assured me it met the qualifications I was looking for in paint!  The color?  Poetic Princess..sounds so cute and girly doesn't it?!

Sometimes we just need a little Psalms...

As I was praying tonight and reflecting on the goings-on of this past week, I couldn't help but feel overwhelmed.  Its been a stressful week..to some maybe not..but to me it has been in more ways than one.  Maybe its a combo of being pregnant and all the hormones that are out of 'whack' in my system..but I was just beginning to feel like things had become unraveled all around me.  Not in a life threatening way, but you know how everyday life can get one down at times.  I started to cry and cried out to God to help me..to give me or show me some sort of peace.  And then I felt led to turn to Psalm 34 where I read this passage..which brought me to even more tears because it was exactly what I was needing to see.

verse 17 ~ The righteous cry, and the Lord heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles.
verse 18 ~ The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite (crushed) spirit.
verse 19 ~ Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all.

So simple, yet so powerful.  Thats what I love about God's word.  :-)

What I'm loving...

This post is a little hard for me because its been a stressful week around our house (prayers are appreciated!)..but none the less..I can always find something I'm loving!

I'm loving the nice weather we've had here the past 2 days!  Its been gorgeous outside and the daffodils are in full bloom in my front yard.  If a pretty yellow daffodil can't bring a smile to your face after a long cold winter, what can?

I'm loving all the baby blog posts thats been going on this week!  Its great looking at all the new little additions to 'blogworld' and hearing about each and every one of them.  ALSO..love reading about the little ones to come!!  We need to think of a way to cut and paste all the babies pictures (once they've all made their arrivals) and make it into one and title it 'Blogger Baby Boom 2011"!

I'm loving my baby shower isn't too far away!  Its exciting..yet a tad overwhelming..I still have some things to purchase for the shower and plan..but its not too bad cause I still have plenty of time for that.  At least there is nothing major to be done!

I'm loving that Makayla's nursery is FINALLY going to begin the painting process this week!!  I have felt like we were so behind in this area but things are finally starting to take place.  Exciting!

And most of all..I'm loving that my Lord and Saviour has been with me thru this trying week.  There have been days that weren't easy at all..followed by days of bad news..and am still in the 'days of waiting' phase now (if this doesnt make sense...don't worry..I'm sure I'll be sharing once all has passed).  Sometimes even when you try to do the right thing, step up, and be honest..you wonder if its going to all backfire in your face.  The Bible was right when it said we would face persecutions for following Him and what is right (and in this case for me..whats right for my family).  At least I have a clear conscious when I lay my head down at night knowing I've done what God leaded me to.  :-)

30 Weeks Pregnant!

Time for another pregnancy update!  Can you believe I've finally hit the 30 week mark?!  Its so exciting..not much longer before we get to meet our little girl!

(not my best picture)

How far along?  30 weeks!

Weight gain?  about 19 pounds

Name?  Makayla Giuliana

Baby's size?  around 3 pounds and 16 inches long (give or take).

Dr. Appts.?  My next one is this friday coming.  My last appointment went well and I was able to discuss some important things w/my doctor.  She was very understanding!  I also received a Rh Immune Globulin shot because I have A negative blood type..it protects baby and me.  :-)

What I miss most?  Being able to sleep on my stomach!  I was always a stomach sleeper before.

Cravings?  Not much..but we got some nice big sweet strawberries at Sam's the other day..they are great!

Clothes?  All maternity, about 98% of the time!  Though can I say..I have never and still don't understand the whole maternity underwear thing.  The first time I saw them at Motherhood Maternity, I thought 'really'?  Is that really necessary?  I wouldn't imagine that is a very popular item sold because I just don't really see the need for them!  Though I am going to be looking into getting some nursing tops/bras in the near future!

Looking forward to?  The baby shower!!  Its in about 2 weeks from today and I have almost all the invitations sent out..save for a handful.  I just love the way they turned out too!  Here they are....

I ordered 2 sets of 50 because I had 2 gift cards from shutterfly to use up before they expired.  Talk about a great deal!

Movements?  All the time...she's not a totally 'rowdy' kicker like some babies are at this point and the only discomfort I've experienced is when she lays really low it feels like either her head or butt (can't tell which it is) is pressing against the bottom of my stomach REALLY hard!  And last week my belly button hurt a little for one day..but that passed.

Discomforts?  The ones I mentioned above..plus going shopping can't be an all-day excursion like before I've found.  I get tired out WAY too easily now so I have to take an easy.  And lately I've been having to make the middle of the night bathroom calls that most preggo women experience!  Sleep is good some nights..bad others.  It just depends on the day I guess.

Miscellany Monday

Miscellany Monday @ lowercase letters

one.

I was able to get some great deals at several stores for baby shower decorations and necessities over the weekend!!  I LOVE the pink toile napkins and table cloth I scored at the party store!  Who knew they'd make baby shower stuff in pink toile??  Totally goes w/my nursery theme!

two.

I've been shopping around for an overnight bag to take w/me to the hospital when Makayla comes.  The one I wanted originally was gone by time I got back to the place that had it.  Bummer.  But I did find this cutie on ebay....

Personalized - Quilted Mricofiber Duffle Overnight Bag
three.

Miss Daisy is getting more spunk in her every day!  She's so cute..but I'm a little afraid to walk her now for fear she'll 'tug' too hard on the leash!  So glad we have her home w/us finally!

four.

Prayers for our family..my hubby's aunt passed away this morning..so I imagine this week will be rather busy with helping my MIL (it was her sister) with the funeral arrangements.

five.

Prayers for me this week as well as I have my 30th week appointment on friday!  30 WEEKS!

Week Recap

Thought I'd just do a simple post today on whats gone around here in the past week.  Seems its been a hectic one!!

  • I am now 29 weeks pregnant..woo!
  • Damon caught a nasty cold/virus and had to miss work.  :-(
  • Thankfully he's now starting to get over said cold.
  • I still need to make a phone call regarding our mattress.  Its less than 3 years old and sounds like it could fall apart at any minute.  Scary!
  • Got all my baby shower invitations fixed up and most of them delivered!
  • We brought Miss Daisy home yesterday!!!  Look for a bigger post on that sometime next week..with pictures!
  • I had a difficult time 2 nights this week trying to get to sleep because Makayla was just so content to kick mommy when she was trying to sleep!  Thankfully she cooperated last night!
  • Yesterday was St. Patricks Day!!  We LOVE that holiday!
  • My best friends birthday was this week..happy birthday Wendy!!
  • And finally, another blog baby was born!!  Go over and say congrats to Monica and baby Cohen here
As for the weekend, I'm looking forward to getting out and about one day, going to church, and spending time with my hubby and our new addition (Miss Daisy..not the baby!)!!  We still got some time before baby arrives!!

Happy St. Paddy's Day!

Hope y'all are wearing your green today!!  We just LOVE this holiday in this household (maybe its because our last name is Green!?!).  I have all my St. Patrick's Day decorations up..placemats included..and I'm 'hoping' a non-maternity top I have picked out will still fit this 29 week preggo belly because its the only thing thats got some green in it that looks like it might fit!  Anywho..on the menu today is one of our FAVORITES..corned beef in the slow cooker!  YUMMO!  We just love it and I'm going to throw in some potatoes for good measure as well.  Along with some sauteed cabbage and some rolls it should be quite the meal!  Oh and remember that pistachio pudding cake I mentioned the other day?  I made it on tuesday and it is yummy!  The thing I like most about it is that it stays so moist..even days after its been made.  Would be extra good if you had some cool whip (tinted green, perhaps?) to go along with it!  In case you'd like to try it out sometime..here is the recipe below!  Oh and even though I've not tried doing this..this cake should be one that could be made into many different flavors (depending on what your in the mood for)..just swap out the pisachio pudding mix for your favorite!  You get the idea!  Onto the recipe......

Pistachio Pudding Cake

1 box yellow cake mix
1 (3.4 oz) package instant pistachio pudding mix
4 eggs
1 1/2 cups water
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1/2 teaspoon almond extract (I leave this out b/c I don't like almond flavoring)
7 drops green food coloring

Preheat oven to 350.  Grease and flour a 10 inch tube (bundt) cake pan.  Mix together the cake mix and pudding mix.  Add the rest of the ingredients and blend well.  Pour into prepared cake pan and bake for 50-55 minutes, or until it passes the toothpick test.  Let cool, then turn out onto a plate.  Enjoy!

I'll leave you with a favorite Irish saying we have hanging in our house....

The Irish Way
Always remember to forget
those troubles that pass away.
But never forget to remember
the blessings that visit each day.

Crazy Pregnancy Dreams!

Ok so after reading Miranda's blog post for monday I thought I'd touch on the subject today of crazy pregnancy dreams!  Apparently its something many moms-to-be experience..whether its just flat out strange, crazy dreams or dreams about their little one growing inside of them.  I have ALWAYS found dreams fascinating (just ask my BFF Wendy..who has a b-day today..happy birthday!!) and love to look up their meanings when I can remember the ones I've had!!  So I'm going to leave this post open for all of you guys out there..care to share some strange/unusual dreams you've had while being preggers??  I'd LOVE to hear about them!!  I'll share one with you guys that I had a while back....

Several weeks ago, I had a dream that a piano was about to fall on me!!  If THAT wasn't strange enough..I literally jumped out of the bed (while I was asleep) to get out of the way of the falling piano!!  Thankfully, I landed on my feet and when I came to and realized what had just happened..I found it amusing (yet I was still totally scared from the dream because it seemed SO real!).  I was probably MORE thankful than anything that I landed on my feet!  A few years ago I had an experience where I apparently was dreaming (though I don't remember what about) and jumped out of the bed..only I crashed into the wall and cut my chin a good one and scraped up my knee pretty bad too!  I actually have a SCAR from that incident!  Yikes!

Miscellany Monday

Miscellany Monday @ lowercase letters

Its monday, time for some miscellany!!

one.

I wanted to send a big THANKS to all who commented on the post I did last week on baby shower game ideas!  It truely did help me out alot..even though I am still doing some research on what exactly I want to do for my shower.  If you come up with anymore ideas, please feel free to pass them on my way!

two.

We finally joined the 21st century (I guess thats what century it is..?) and bought a flat screen tv over the weekend!  Gotta say..I am a fan even though when they first came out I didn't think I'd much care if we had the 'old' type or one of those.
Samsung LN40C630 40" LCD HDTV
three.

Big discovery made over the weekend..I can eat bananas again!!  After starting to suffer with some minor pregnancy related leg cramps last week, I talked to my dr about it on friday when I saw her and she told me to try bananas.  When I told her that bananas had been one of those foods that had grossed me out since becoming preggo..she said..try it anyways!  So I braved the little yellow monsters once more and to my suprise I'm able to eat them once again!  Yay!  Now if I can just get past the chocolate ice cream yuck...

four.

As I was in Marshall's on friday, I thought I'd try to find a nice suitable 'something' to put my clothes and stuff in when I have to head to the hospital to have Makayla.  I wasn't expecting to be purchasing a designer diaper bag!!!!  But thats exactly what I did..and I'm luvin' it..can't wait till I'm using it!!

five.

Don't forget everyone..this week is St. Paddy's Day!!!  Hope you have something special in mind to do to celebrate the 'day of the green'!  For us, I'm fixing a corned beef and some cabbage and making a pistachio pudding cake for dessert..yum!!  I'll put up the recipe in a couple days for the cake, in case any of yall would like to give it a try!!

Baby Shower Games??

I was looking at a website the other night on various types of baby shower games.  Since mine will be in less than a month..I figured it was time I started figuring out what types of games could be played!  I know some don't really care for the games played at showers, whether its bridal or baby, but I've always enjoyed them alot!  I'm looking for something different, not too complicated, and good for a large crowd.  Any ideas, anyone??

I don't, however, like playing the typical "Bingo" at showers.  That just screams "boring" and "I didn't care what we play at the shower..its just easy.".  No offense to anyone who's done Bingo at a shower, its just my personal preference.  I do, however, enjoy the birthday/anniversary game and am planning on doing that one!    It generates alot of laughs and is most always a hit.  In case you've never heard of it before, all the guests write their birthdates and anniversary dates on a slip of paper (both seperate), and when the game begins a date is called out.  The person who it relates to (whether its your birthday or anniversary) grabs a "prize".  You have 'x' amount of prizes and anyone can 'steal' your prize if their 'date' is called out.  Whoever is left with prizes at the end of the game wins!  Sorry if that didn't make much sense..but if you played it before..you understand!

Some rather 'interesting' games I saw online included "Pin the sperm on the egg"..seriously???  I thought that was the oddest one I saw.  There was also one where you put a plastic baby and a piece of string in a clear plastic cup, fill it with water and freeze it.  Have the guests guess what time the baby will be 'born'..that is..when the water thaws and the baby is out of the ice.  I think its also called something like 'what time will the water break'.  How people come up with some of these ideas is beyond me!!  I thought that one was rather cute though and might be a possibility.

At any rate, I'd LOVE to hear your ideas and any games you might have played at baby showers, whether it was your own shower or one you attended!!!

The ABC's of me!

I got this great idea for a blog post from my dear friend Kristin!  Its a great way for us to learn more about each other..hope you'll participate!

A ~ Age: 32

B ~ Bed Size: Queen..would love to have a King but it would take up too much room.

C ~ Chore You Hate:  Sweeping and mopping!  I'd rather run a vacuum anyday than pick up a broom!  Thats the only downfall to having hardwood floors, imo.

D ~ Dogs:  This will sound odd, but we have one on the way!  We'll probably be able to get Miss Daisy picked up sometime late next week if all goes well!  We just adopted her at the beginning of the month and now are waiting for her to get over the kennel cough and being in heat so she can be spayed and brought home.  :-)

E ~ Essential Start To Your Day:  Whole wheat toast w/peanut butter and some oj.  Its a pregnancy thing..lol!

F ~ Favorite Color:  Definately orange!

G ~ Gold or Silver:  Silver

H ~ Height: 5'6 1/2

I ~ Instruments You Play:  Sadly, none. I'm not musically gifted!

J ~ Job Title:  Homemaker, Wife, and Mommy-to-be!

K ~ Kids In Your Immediate Family:  I'm actually an only child..so there is just lil' old me!
L ~ Live:  In the coalfields of southern West Virginia :-)

M ~ Man In Your Life:  His name is Damon and I'm so happy to be married to him!  10 years of marriage we'll be celebrating this August..and the BEST 10 years of my life!  I love him and am so proud of him!

N ~ Nicknames? Mel, Love Bug, Bug, Momma (thats what Ravey calls me..lol).

O ~ Outrageous Thing You Would Do for $1000: I'm not sure there is anything 'outrageous' I would do..I'm not much of a daring person!

P ~ Pet Peeves: Rude people in general (whether its driving or talking on the phone), someone who can't put down their cell phone to talk to someone in front of them, sarcasm.  I could make a really long list on this one topic!

Q ~ Quote From A Show/Movie: "My cup runneth over.." from Hope Floats

R ~ Righty or Lefty?  I'm a righty.

S ~ Sing In The Shower, or Not?  Not..I usually spend my time in the tub saying my prayers.

T ~ Time You Wake Up?  Around noon..but I have an explanation!  Damon works nights, so I stay up EXTREMELY late to do housework, etc AND I'm pregnant!

U ~ Underwear:  Personal question?! I have a variety, mostly low-cut cotton stuff.

V ~ Vegetables You Dislike?  I loathe tomatoes, BUT during the summer months I love to make stuff with them, like homemade salsa, pizza sauce, etc, etc!  Also I can't stand lima beans, tastes like grit!

W ~ What Makes You Run Late?  Bad hair days

X ~ X-Rays You've Had:  Well I've had an ultrasound..so I'm not sure if that counts or not!  Been to the dentist and had xrays of my teeth.

Y ~ Yummy Food You Make:  Lots and lots of things!  I make really good soups, fudge, cakes, brownies, and pizza.
(homemade pear honey!)

Z ~ Zoo Animal Favorite? Gotta be the polar bears!

28 Weeks Pregnant!

(this pic was taken just a couple days before I was actually 28 weeks..but close enough!)

How far along?  28 weeks and 1 day pregnant..can you believe it?

Cravings?  Cold water mostly.  Damon bought some cinnamon jolly ranchers yesterday and I've been popping them like crazy too!

Symptoms?  Saturday evening it hit me like a ton of bricks..I feel SO heavy in my belly.  Its almost like I can 'feel' her growing, if that makes sense.  Definately starting to feel uncomfortable.  And still very tired.  :-(

Sleep?  Pretty good..I have my nights where it doesn't go as well as others..but for the most part its been good.

Weight Gain?  14 pounds at my last dr visit.

Dr. Appts.?  I go for my 28 week check-up this friday!  Also will get my rh negative blood shot since I have A negative blood.

Other stuff:  Baby shower is scheduled and baby shower invites are ordered and awaiting their arrival (the above picture was used in one of the invitations I ordered..LOVE that shirt!).  I took a bunch of outdoor pictures late last week for the invitiations..I thought they turned out rather well!  Here are a few of them.

And finally..here is a picture of me at 27 weeks..the shirt makes me look ALOT bigger, imo!

Miscellany Monday

Miscellany Monday @ lowercase letters

one.
I finally finished getting registered for our baby shower thats going to be next month!   I hope that I got everything down that I needed to.  Its more complex registering for a baby than a bridal/wedding shower, don't you think?  Anyways, Walmart is NOT my friend after this experience.  Customer service STUNK with helping me out and it took 3 tries at 2 different Walmarts before I was able to get it done.  And then after I got home..I still wasn't sure it even 'took' because it wasn't showing up online!  Thankfully..it was there after 24 hours..guess it takes time to get in their system.  Ugh.  Target, however, was wonderful.  I love them.

two.
Speaking of the shower, I also got the baby shower invitations ordered!  Yipee!  I LOVE the way they turned out..gotta love Shutterfly!  They should be in sometime this week (I'm hoping).

three.
We woke up to SNOW on the ground sunday.  SNOW?!  Really?  Thats what I get for not watching the weather forecast for a few days.  I was totally shocked..especially considering we had temps in the 50s-60s lately.

four.
Pregnancy is officially starting to wear me out.  After being out all day on saturday, I was wiped out all that night and all of sunday.  Unfortunately, because of this we were unable to attend church which I really hated.  :-(  We're definately going to have to make our trips out shorter from here on out.

five.
And since Ravey has been pestering me the entire time I've been writing this post..I'll include her to please her!  She would like to tell everyone that spring is right around the corner, because the birdies have been coming to the window more and more lately to eat the sunflower seeds momma puts out for them (and for her enjoyment)!

A few thoughts for the day...

Just thought I'd do a short post today on some things that are happenin' around here!

  • The vet called this morning about Miss Daisy (she was due to be spayed today).  Turns out she's got a mild case of kennel cough (nothing serious from what the lady said) AND she went into HEAT!  Ahh!  So they suggested she be quarentined for 2 weeks so she can get over the cough and get out of heat (I guess thats what you would call it..lol) before she can be fixed.  BIG bummer for Damon..he was SO excited to bring her home tomorrow!  I suggested 'maybe' we can go visit her next time we're over at Charleston..to let her know we haven't forgotten about her!
  • Baby shower plans are in progress!  We have the place booked where we are going to hold it at so last night I started making my invitations on Shutterfly.  So far so good!!  And I have the menu halfway to 3/4 planned already!
  • Since said baby shower plans are in progress...yesterday I started snapping pictures of myself outside to use on the invites.  I got some good shots and one is probably a definate (I'm ordering 2 different invitations so I can use 2 discounts I have..good deal!)..I'm going to try to get some more today.  The outfit I plan on wearing should coordinate really well with the invitation itself!
  • And last but not least..today is my dad's birthday!!!  Happy birthday daddy (even though you don't read my blog)..I love you so much and appreciate every single thing you do for us..which is ALOT!  He never hesistates to help or offer to help.  Even though he is rather on the quiet side..his love shows through in other ways.  I'm so grateful for him and love him more than he knows!!

Meet Miss Daisy!

Damon and I headed over to the animal shelter in Charleston tuesday morning in search of a new doggie companion to our ever-growing household.  And low and behold, we found the newest member of our family!  In cage B-6 we met "Miss Daisy", as Damon has seen fit to call her!  I spotted her the other day when we visited and she really tugged at my heart strings.  Damon, however, fell for the pooch in the cage next to hers.  When we arrived yesterday, the one he was wanting, was already taken.  So after looking around at several really good contenders, Damon decided to take the little beagle for a walk.  It didn't take long after getting her outside and away from the other dogs, she showed us her true personality.  While scared and hesistant inside the shelter, once outside she totally livened up!  She began to walk good on the leash, sniffed until her heart was content, and even attempted to give Damon his first 'doggie kiss'..so sweet!  Didn't take long for her to win his heart over after that!  She has the sweetest, meekest personality I've seen in a dog in a VERY long time.  This I like..especially since we have a little one on the way.  ;-)  She's between 1-2 years old..I'm hoping the vet can give us a better idea of which age she is closest to.  She is going to make a great addition to the family..and it'll be fun when we can bring her home on friday after her spay is complete!

Do You Ever.....?

Do you ever wish you could know what your unborn child will be like in 5 years?

Do you ever wish people wouldn't always give you their opinion?

Do you ever forget to thank God for the 'little things' in life?

Do you ever wonder what it would be like to live in a foreign country?  And raise your children there?

Do you ever think what it would be like if someone you were close to that has passed away, was still here and able to see how much you've grown and the things you've done in your life?
